Sometimes, the original time for a meeting doesn’t work out. Instead of canceling, you can easily propose a new time using Google Calendar. This feature allows you to suggest a different time that works better for you, without the hassle of starting the scheduling process from scratch. Here’s how to do it:
- Open Google Calendar: Navigate to your Google Calendar and find the event you need to reschedule.
- Click on the Event: Once you locate the event, click on it to open the event details.
- Below the event details, you’ll see the option to "Propose a new time." Click on it.
- A new window will open where you can select a different date and time. You can also add an optional message explaining the reason for the change.
- After choosing the new time, click "Send proposal." The meeting organizer will receive your request and can either accept or suggest a different time.
Note: Don't forget to send a message to the client on Sofia if you need to change the times.
And that’s it! Google Calendar will handle the rest, notifying the meeting organizer of your proposed time. If they agree to the change, the calendar event will be updated automatically.
If the new time doesn’t work for the other participants, they can propose another time or accept your suggestion. Make sure to keep your availability updated to make scheduling as smooth as possible. Clear communication through messages ensures that everyone stays informed and that adjustments can be made efficiently.
